With a background in Education, I have always been energised by helping people see and fulfill their potential. The same goes for my design work, and like the sculptor who can see the art within a block of stone, I see the beauty in materials and products that are deemed redundant and aim to give these products and materials a new lease of life, a renewed purpose, and a new home.
At Oak & Black, we work with reclaimed materials whenever possible and believe that with the right amount of focus, attention, and love we can turn these materials into beautiful products and heirlooms that will bring joy for years to come.
